Capture is a software designed by Sirius to facilitate capturing scanned documents in a production environment.
The scanning and archiving processes involve several stages such as:
- Preparation of material to be scanned;
- Scanning and input (indexes, etc.);
- Recomposition of scanned material;
- New scan and/or transcription;
- Archiving, queries and reports.
Throughout these stages, the software lets you interact with documents, ensuring greater control over production results.

Capture is the proper tool for scanning and input processes, and its basic functions are:
- image processing by using appropriate software, in conjunction with scanner;
- set indexes associated with each image or set of images, to facilitate the subsequent search;
- generate a file with information about images and their indexes to the software Filer

- run in client / server environment with centralized database where files are stored along with the scanned documents;
- restrict access to unauthorized users;
- record information such as the person responsible for scanning a document and the creation of indexes;
- reporting on the number of scanned documents per production line, per person, etc.;
- reporting on productivity per day or period.
